Ask Me Anything!

Ask Me Anything!

Everyone has their own story, whether they're the protagonist or some measly side character, and people want to hear yours!

Just post a description of yourself in the title and let those crazy anons ask you questions.

Here are some examples:
  • Ask a MgRonald's cashier!
  • Ask someone who studies Titans for a living anything.
  • Everyone ships me with my best friend, AMA. (also, help)
  • My life revolves around pitting animals against each other, ask me about Pokemon.
  • I met Goku in a meme once, AMA.
  • Ask a guy who gets 10 minutes of screentime.

What has been your most challenging case up to now?

[A cat. Rather well dressed; the tailoring suggested high income and a high place in society. A Baron most likely] That would be a series of cases, my dear sir, against that most fiendish of minds that is Rattigan.

[Well dressed and well spoken, and bipedal on top of that, unusual for both their worlds... But he's also poised, calm and mannered, as if nothing is unusual at all here. He has practice with that.]

All interconnected? He sounds like a difficult foe. How did these cases culminate, or is this Rattigan an ongoing problem of yours?

[Well. Of course. Basil does not show his own surprise. It wouldn't do for one of the greatest minds in the world to somehow be surprised]

Was an on-going problem. My final case against Rattigan involved stopping him from taking over from the Queen. He had kidnapped a true genius of a man, who was able to create a perfectly working robotic double. Using this double, Rattigan was able to have himself placed as highest authority in the land, and thus begin his madness on all the people.

Naturally, of course, I stopped this insanity before it went too far. Rattigan fell from the Westminster Clock - to his death I can only presume.

[Well as long as no one is visibly surprised!] Congratulations, sir. If all of his plans were so far-reaching and involved that level of malicious cunning, it sounds like he must have been a thorn in your side for some time.

After a fall of such a height, I would have to agree. But I must ask: How did you uncover this plot of his?

[Indeed] Rattigan was a genius. Twisted beyond all compared, but a genius none the less. However, because his mind was so twisted, he could not comprehend that the toy maker would have someone looking for him.

[A finger is held up for emphasis] A young daughter, as a matter of fact. She was brought along to my home in Baker Street by my associate, Dr. Dawson, who had happened upon her on his arrival back from the war. The child was desperate to find her father, and from the description of his kidnapper, I was quickly able to realise that Rattigan had another plan in the works.

I'd certainly call that a bit of an...overstatement. Always one to put yourself on a pedestal.

A pedestal that has been proven to be quite accurate, or would the repeated foiling of your many "plans" not have proven that to be so?
