[Though Korekiyo (perhaps surprisingly) had a preference for creation myths and fairy tales, he was nevertheless over the moon to be accosted for his particular focus of knowledge. Even if it was just to hear of the myths and folklore of a more horrific nature, Korekiyo would readily oblige, if only to have someone to ramble off to about anthropology.

Of course, with how passionate he was about the subject and having a flair for the dramatic anyway, he'll absolutely insist on the room being pitch black, aside from the faint illumination of the few candles in the room. Perhaps if there were more people involved, he would go even more elaborate with the set up to create something more fit for a Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai game, but he had a feeling that the other participant wouldn't want to stay long enough to hear 100 ghost stories from him. Ah well, perhaps another time...

[As someone who had managed to climb her way as the #1 assassin in all of Asia, Shinobu had extremely high standards for the fights she chose to get involved in — if she were to go against someone that was obviously weaker than her, then what was the fucking point of fighting in the first place? However, even if she was originally in the buisiness to try to find someone and stayed for the thrill of the battle, by now she was desensitized enough to not mind regular assassin contracts as well. She was a girl of expensive taste and she had to have some way to pay the bills, after all.

So, even if this kind of job was incredibly boring to her, there was an assassination contract presented to her that far surpassed her stipulation of not leaving the country for less than a $100,000. As an assassin, she vastly preferred the method of going directly to the person in question and challenging them to a fight to the death, but to her chagrin, this particular contract requested a more stealthy approach.

Which brings us to now, as Shinobu is trailing the actions of the target from a nearby rooftop. Her plan of action was to wait until the target was isolated and then jump down from several stories above to stab the unfortunate victim with her katana. Yes, in high heels and everything. However, just before Shinobu can track the target to an alley, she spots another person on the rooftop, whether they be a sniper or an assassin with similar methods to herself. It was a common occurrence to see more than one assassin on the job, so Shinobu puts one hand on her hip as her other, prosthetic hand posed over the blade of her katana.]
